but then we get slapped in the face with no mention and no explanation nor details on the store website, is absolutely abysmal business practice period! The blatant 'no mention' at all about the mbp 17" discontinuing, or being taken off the store sight - no mention at all anywhere on the store sight, just not listing it all of a sudden, making true to the 'rumors'īut the 'rumors' were just taken by the public in the first place as 'predictions' by wobbly sources(?) which no real serious consumer would really take with any grain of salt. When in turn, really are consumer consensus simply just a tool of marketing at the end of the day to, what, get a poll of what consumers might actually buy or what they 'wish' for, so that apple might consider in their next keynote to present as a foreseeable or possible development? I feel the events yesterday and every day leading up to yesterday was simply apple just resorting to rumors as a vague source in which to dispel certain 'information' or 'new' development, or extermination of certain services or products, but in an extremely vague way - giving too much room for interpretation by the general public. Right now i feel that APPLE has absolutely NO business / market / client transparency - WHAT'S Up APPLE?! I hope that the third version takes more steps towards improving the cloud and sync issues given Catalina’s focus on a close relationship with Apple’s cloud-based services.Ĭonsider this a recommended maintenance release for existing users, but there is still nothing new to entice those who are happily working on older versions.Someone please correct me if i am wrong, but this site is just for entertainment value right? seriously do any posts here really affect market polls for apple to consider for a second what they improve or discontinue - really?! There are currently no public developer builds for MacOS Catalina 10.15.3 in Apple’s betapublic beta system, although Apple will be working on that version. If your Mac is working at the moment, especially if it is a ‘business critical’ machine then I would recommend caution for now. This is still the ‘first wave’ of Catalina, and many issues remain both in the OS but also in third-party applications. Once more it’s harder to recommend that those on an older but stable version of MacOS go through the update. Although nothing major is fixed, the small details, especially the hardware fixes, are going to be welcome. If you are currently running MacOS Catlina - either through upgrading an existing Mac or on a recently purchased Mac machine - then you should upgrade. These additions are geared not towards extending Catalina but solidifying the changes to the operating system. Quietly addressing some hardware issues without drawing too much attention to the problems.

Will apple support 2012 mac pro for the meltdown bug update#
And of course anyone reliant on 32-bit applications have to check in with the third-party developers for an update as it has been Apple’s stated intention for some time. At this stage it doesn’t appear that the larger issues - such as sync issues and problems signing into iCloud - have been addressed.
